FEELING: “IMPORTED FROM DETROIT” CHRYSLER
NOTES: Created a Super Bowl ad, this became a commercial series celebrating all things that come from Detroit. It emphasized the local people and places, even if those across the nation did not recognize them. They used music from a famous Detroit artist and emphasized that their product was also a home-grown Detroit element. We want our Saginaw story to inspire and move people in a similar way towards the City of Saginaw.
LOOK AND STYLE: KALAMAZOO DOWNTOWN
NOTES: A great video from Downtown Kalamazoo Partnership. We like the tone and style for the first part of our Saginaw story; a little heavier, talking about the hardships, with authentic, real voice-over testimonials. But then go a more positive, uplifting route for the second half, much brighter and saturated than the Kalamazoo video. We’d like to present the city more hopeful and colorful – similar to the color of our WMU student mentor videos.
